GROWING A FLOWER FARM ON OLD TENNIS COURTS.

I’m Maddy - a mom to a sweet little girl,  a NYC native, a lover of natural beauty, and a passionate flower farmer. Before flower farming I worked in hospitality, event planning, and environmental nonprofit management. Flower farming and building a space where I can welcome people for events, information sharing, and memory-making combines all my passions!

Many ask me where the name Bloomcourt comes from. Well, when deciding on a farm name, people often look at the natural landscape surrounding them which is why “hill” “lake” and “river” are common in farm names. Bloomcourt was launched out of the desire to turn an old swim and tennis club back into a buzzing ecosystem with wildlife and increased habitat. The flowers, or blooms as I like to call them, are grown on old clay tennis courts that have been dug into to form flower beds, hence the name!

Bloomcourt got its start in 2021 and has happily been serving Westchester and NYC flower lovers since. I use only organic nutrient supplements and pest management so that our flowers are safe for you, our team, and all of the lovely pollinators that fly by the farm.

I believe that flowers are a wonderful way to experience “ordinary” or everyday magic and I feel proud that I get to share them with my community.
